An established and highly regarded regional law firm is looking for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its close-knit Employment team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong 3β5 PQE Employment Lawyer looking to develop their career within a respected team handling high-quality work for a diverse client base.
You will handle a varied caseload covering both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, providing commercially focused legal advice and building strong, trusted relationships with clients.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience across both areas of employment law, with transactional experience being advantageous but not essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising clients on a broad range of employment law matters
- Managing contentious employment matters
- Advising on non-contentious employment issues
- Managing your own caseload
- Providing clear, commercially focused legal advice
- Developing strong and lasting client relationships
- Supporting the wider Employment team
- Contributing to business development and networking activities
- Maintaining high standards of technical and client service
- Supporting and mentoring more junior members of the team where appropriate
We are looking for an Employment Lawyer with approximately 3β5 years PQE and a strong grounding in employment law.
You should have:
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Strong technical employment law knowledge
- Excellent client management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A commercially minded approach
- The ability to manage your own workload effectively
- Excellent attention to detail
- A genuine interest in developing client relationships and business
- Confidence working collaboratively within a close-knit team
Transactional employment experience would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
