Electronics Engineer
Locations: Weymouth (Relocation package available)
We’re searching for a hands-on Electronics Engineer to join a high-calibre, collaborative engineering team designing cutting-edge defence technology . In this role, you’ll turn complex system requirements into smart, robust electronic solutions — delivering designs that hit the mark for performance, manufacturability, and customer acceptance on time and on budget .

What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the architecture and detailed design of electronic solutions.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to deliver successful design outcomes.
- Designing electronics that are optimised for manufacture, test, and smooth production handover .
- Supporting system integration, including hands-on troubleshooting and fault-finding.
- Producing high-quality technical documentation, schematics, and Bills of Materials in line with company standards.
- Providing occasional on-site support for installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
What You’ll Bring
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (essential).
- Broad analogue and digital electronics design experience, including:
- Low-noise power supply and distribution
- Analogue signal conditioning
- Data acquisition systems
- FPGA-based control
- EMC-compliant design
- A proven track record across the full electronics product lifecycle — from specification and circuit design through validation, compliance, and formal acceptance.
- Experience with ECAD tools (Cadence OrCAD desirable ).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fault-find down to component level .
