You will act as a trusted advisor and employee relations subject matter expert, managing complex casework while helping to build management capability and deliver positive employee relations outcomes.

The Role

  • Support organisational change activity, including restructures, redundancies, TUPE and consultation processes.
  • Coach managers and deliver training, guidance and practical toolkits to improve confidence, consistency and people management capability.
  • Contribute to HR projects, engagement, wellbeing, learning and health & safety initiatives across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and documentation, ensuring they remain compliant, effective and aligned with best practice.
  • Prepare formal HR documentation, including investigation reports, outcome letters, consultation materials, settlement agreements and tribunal-related correspondence where required.
  • Monitor employment legislation, case law and HR best practice, identifying potential risks and recommending appropriate action.
  • Manage DSARs, legal enquiries, HR inbox queries and other employee-related matters, escalating where appropriate.
  • Analyse employee relations trends and people data, supporting improvements to employee experience, management effectiveness and organisational decision-making.

About You

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience, with at least 4–5 years' experience in an HR Advisory or Employee Relations Specialist role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations best practice and HR policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships at all levels.
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities, sensitive casework and tight deadlines with discretion, professionalism and emotional intelligence.
