Welder / Fabricator Salary: Permanent – £28,000 to £30,000 plus plenty of overtime available Location: Pershore, Easily commutable from Evesham , Worcester, Redditch , Droitwich Spa , Tewkesbury , Cheltenham , Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm Benefits: Contributory pension , free parking and PPE Exceptionally busy fabrication company requires an additional Mig and Tig welder due to a consistent upturn in business. Working in a friendly and helpful team you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of fabrication / welding from one-offs to small runs. The Welder / Fabricator Role: * Very interesting work available working on one-offs or small batches. * The Mig element of the role is working on mild steel, the Tig part is working on stainless. * You will be provided with new, good quality equipment working in a well-ordered Workshop. * Preparing metal according to drawings and then using/making jigs/fixtures. * Cleaning welds using rotary/hand tools. * Opportunity to solve fabricating problems and work on larger sub-assemblies with team members. Skills required for the Welder Fabricator role: * Read and Understand engineering drawings * Be able to set up and use Mig / Tig machines * Be competent in producing strong and visually pleasing welds * Be able to clean welds prior to passing on to the spray department. * Ideally be able to use workshop machinery to cut steel although this can be taught. * Have good practical and problem-solving skills. * Observe high standards regarding Health and Safety * If you only have Mig skills, please still apply as Tig training can potentially be offered.
