Leading manufacturer requires an additional Mig welder due to a consistent upturn in business. This is a permanent role with the opportunity to significantly increase your earnings due to consistent weekly amounts of overtime available, paid at Time plus a half. Training to include codings, crane, FLT etc included.
Location: Willersey, easily commutable from Evesham, Alcester, Tewkesbury, Pershore, Moreton-in-Marsh, Cheltenham
Hours - Mon to Fri 8.00am to 4.30pm
The Welder Fabricator Role:
- Very interesting work available.
- The work is all Mig, working on mild steel.
- Good quality equipment working in a well-ordered Workshop. New air-fed mask issued on start.
- Preparing metal according to drawings and then following detailed drawings.
- Cleaning welds using rotary/hand tools.
- Opportunity to solve fabricating problems and work on larger sub-assemblies with team members.
- Very good training opportunities with the option to progress.
Skills required for the Welder Fabricator role:
- Read and understand engineering drawings
- Be able to set up and use Mig machines
- Be competent in producing strong and visually pleasing welds
- Be able to clean welds prior to passing on to the spray department.
- Have good practical and problem-solving skills.
- Observe high standards regarding Health and Safety
