Parts Person Salary: £27,000 to £29,000 plus overtime Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm Location: Alcester – easily commutable from Evesham , Bidford-on-Avon , Stratford-upon-Avon , Redditch Duration: Permanent Highly successful manufacturer has created a new Parts Person role due to a significant increase in business. Working as part of a friendly team, you will be responsible for processing Customer parts orders from receipt, packing and finally, dispatch. There is no Customer contact required – you will be working from paperwork generated from the Sales team. Parts Person Responsibilities: • Ensuring customer orders are picked, packaged and dispatched within the delivery timeframe required. • Inform sales team if parts are not available. • Checking and putting away supplier deliveries into correct bin locations, flagging up any shortages or damaged stock. • Assisting with periodic stock checks. • Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Skills required in this role: • Have experience of parts dispatch within an engineering, automotive, manufacturing or similar environment. • Be able to identify parts based upon descriptions on paperwork (for instance if the order is “one pack of 25mm washers”, does the pack in the bin location look like that? • Be able to work with a high degree of accuracy and have basic computer literacy. • Be a good communicator and be commit…
