Salary: Basic £42000-£43000 plus overtime at enhanced rates.

Location: Cheltenham, easily commutable from Evesham, Worcester, Gloucester, Tewkesbury.

Exceptionally successful vehicle workshop is seeking an additional HGV Mechanic due to significant additional work requirement. They are either seeking an experienced HGV mechanic or a fully qualified car technician / vehicle mechanic to train.

HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter role:

  • You will be required to undertake all levels of maintenance, repairs and major overhauls on a wide range of commercial vehicles as well as completing standard servicing and diagnostics.
  • Complete straightforward service and maintenance reports.
  • Advise if there are any safety defects or issues which would be of interest to the user.
  • Take part in Industry-leading training provided both in house and with major manufacturers.

Skills/attributes required for the HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / HGV Fitter role:

  • You must be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion.
  • Either be apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or have relevant hands-on experience.
