We are currently recruiting for an organised, commercially minded and detail-oriented Sales Estimator to join a growing business based in Shrewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong numerical skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to turn customer requirements into accurate, competitive quotations. The ideal candidate will be confident working with measurements, calculating costs and communicating with customers and internal teams to ensure projects run smoothly from quotation through to completion. The Role As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates and quotations, reviewing measurements and plans, calculating material requirements and ensuring costs are presented clearly and professionally. You'll work closely with the sales team, customers, installers and administration staff to help convert enquiries into confirmed orders and deliver a smooth customer journey. Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate quotations and estimates based on customer requirements and measurements. * Calculate material quantities, costs and associated installation requirements. * Review room measurements, floor plans and survey information. * Liaise with customers to clarify specifications and answer quotation queries. * Follow up outstanding quotations and identify opportunities to secure sales. * Work closely with the sales team to support business growth and achieve targets. * Coordinate with installers and internal departments to ensure accurate job details. * Maintain accurate records of quotations, orders and customer information. * Identify potential issues with measurements, materials or installation requirements. * Provide excellent customer service throughout the estimating and sales process. About You We're looking for someone who is methodical, confident with numbers and comfortable managing multiple enquiries while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Ideally, you'll have previous experience in estimating, sales support or a similar role within flooring, interiors, construction or another related industry. Experience with measurements, quotations and calculating material costs would be advantageous. You'll also need: * Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Good organisational and time-management abilities. * Confidence using computers and digital systems. * A proactive approach to following up enquiries and supporting sales. * Full UK Driving Licence * A willingness to learn and develop product knowledge.
