We are working with an exciting new client based in the Coleshill area who are looking to recruit two experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join their busy warehouse and logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global organisation offering long-term career prospects, with temporary positions expected to become permanent for the right candidates.
Initially, the role will be based on a day shift (8:00am – 4:00pm) to support the setup of a new stores area at the company's Hams Hall facility. Following the setup phase, there may be an opportunity to transition onto rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Operating a gas-powered 2.5-tonne Counterbalance Forklift Truck fitted with a spreader attachment.
- Supporting the setup and organisation of a new stores and warehouse area.
- Loading, unloading, and moving stock safely and efficiently.
- Booking stock into the warehouse system.
- Carrying out stock movements and inventory-related tasks.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
- Assisting the wider warehouse and logistics team as required.
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
- Proven experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating larger FLTs or attachments such as spreaders would be advantageous.
- Basic SAP experience preferred.
- Alternatively, experience booking stock into warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable and committed with a positive attitude.
- 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
