We are currently recruiting for two Maintenance Electricians to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within a heavy industrial environment. Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of site facilities, foundry equipment and production machinery through planned preventative maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out electrical maintenance on site facilities, foundry melting and casting equipment, sand mould machines, conveyor systems, bucket elevators and shot blast machinery
  • Completing planned preventative maintenance in line with PPM and TPM schedules
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to minimise downtime
  • Reading and working from electrical schematics and panel drawings
  • Fault finding down to component level
  • PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace and identify faults
  • Assisting with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site

The Successful Candidate

  • Be an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
  • Hold a recognised Electrical qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Have strong fault-finding abilities and be comfortable working from electrical drawings
  • Be capable of diagnosing PLC logic faults, ideally on Mitsubishi, Siemens, Allen Bradley and Fanuc systems
  • Be flexible to work overtime when required to support business needs

  • Basic salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
  • Weekly rotating shift pattern of 6am–2pm and 2pm–10pm
  • Overtime paid at Time + 1/3 during the week and Saturdays
  • Overtime paid at Time + 1/2 on Sundays
  • 33 days holiday including Bank Holidays
