An established and friendly chartered accountancy practice in the heart of Stourbridge is looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to join their growing team. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to a varied client base and the opportunity to play a key part in the day-to-day running of accounts within a supportive practice environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Preparation of statutory accounts for SMEs
- Liaising directly with clients and providing ongoing financial support
- Supporting year-end accounts and audit processes
- Assisting with process improvements and ad-hoc finance projects
Candidate Requirements
- CIMA or AAT qualified (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a management accounting role
- ESSENTIAL: Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients
- Well-organised with strong attention to detail
