An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 2D CAD Engineer/Estimator to join a dynamic and growing office team. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary of £30,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Produce profile drawings using AutoCAD 2D software.
  • Interact with customers to gather additional information, clarify drawings, or confirm material specifications (e.g. S275, S355, CR4, 304, 316).
  • Be flexible and adaptable to the demands of a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an engineering background.
  • Familiarity with Lantek software (advantageous but not essential).
  • Ability to recognize different material types.

Package/Hours:

  • 39.5 hour working week with a shorter working day on Friday.
  • 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 4 years of service.
  • Working for a reputable company.
