We are recruiting a newly created Business Solutions Manager based out of Stourbridge but covering a nationwide client base
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, ambitious, and technically minded individual who enjoys working directly with customers and thrives on variety.
You will act as the bridge between customers, the sales team, project delivery teams, and technical specialists.
The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging with customers at all levels, conducting site visits and surveys, supporting technical discussions, and helping drive projects from concept through to delivery.
No two days will be the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys learning, problem-solving, and taking on new challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites to conduct surveys, exploratory meetings, and technical assessments.
- Build strong customer relationships, becoming a trusted and professional point of contact.
- Support the sales process by identifying customer requirements and translating them into practical technical solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, technical specifications, presentations, and solution designs.
- Participate in customer-facing meetings, workshops, and demonstrations.
- Liaise with software developers, project managers, engineers, and third-party suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to technical discussions relating to software integration, system architecture, and project implementation.
- Support project management activities, including planning, coordination, documentation, and progress reporting.
- Help manage customer expectations and resolve technical or operational issues as they arise.
- Identify opportunities for additional products, services, and improvements within existing customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, site surveys, and project activities.
- Remain adaptable and willing to support a wide variety of business and customer requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Experience or interest in technology, software, automation, engineering, systems integration, or a related field, with a willingness to develop further technical knowledge – Preferred not essential as full training will be provided
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident presenting and communicating with customers both on-site and remotely.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
