The Role
We are recruiting a Service Engineer based locally to Manchester, responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance of split systems and VRV/VRF units across the North West region. This is a hands-on, varied role working independently while being supported by a team that genuinely values its engineers.
The Company
We are working with a mid-sized specialist Air Conditioning company known for excellent staff retention, with engineers who have been with the business for 15 years or more. This role has arisen due to company expansion. The company has a personable, family-oriented culture where employees are respected, supported, and feel like a valued part of the team.
Essential Requirements
- F-Gas qualified
- Experience completing reactive and preventative maintenance independently
- Full UK driving licence
- Willing to be part of the on-call rota
- No unspent criminal convictions that could affect a DBS check
Package
- Hourly rate £16–£18/hour
- 40-hour contracted week
- Door-to-door pay
- Company van provided for work use
- Overtime paid at an enhanced rate after 40 hours
