We are recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to oversee a small maintenance team consisting of 5 Engineers and 2 Apprentices. The role will involve providing electrical maintenance support across site facilities, foundry equipment and machinery, ensuring planned maintenance schedules are completed and responding effectively to breakdowns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising a team of 5 Engineers and 2 Apprentices
- Providing electrical maintenance for site facilities, foundry equipment and machinery
- Adhering to PPM and TPM schedules
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and carrying out fault finding
- Reading and working from electrical and panel drawings
- Fault finding down to component level
- PLC fault finding and interrogation to trace faults
- Installation and commissioning of new machinery
The Successful Candidate Will:
- Be an experienced Engineer with a background in heavy industry and/or manufacturing
- Hold an Electrical qualification at Level 3 or above
- Be capable of diagnosing PLC logic faults
