At Trinity Partners, we are delighted to be partnering with a high-performing independent secondary school to recruit a Teacher of French for a permanent, full-time/part-time position starting January 2027 (or sooner for the right candidate). This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and academically ambitious school with a strong sixth form provision, excellent results, and a commitment to developing students into informed, critical thinkers who engage confidently with political and social issues.

The Role

As a Teacher of French, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stage 3 to students of varying abilities and aspirations. You will join a supportive and well-resourced Modern Foreign Languages department that is dedicated to academic excellence.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in MFL French or related subjects (ideally from Russell group universities)
  • Experience teaching French to KS3 - KS4
  • Strong cultural knowledge of French speaking nations
  • A passion for fostering debate, critical thinking, and intellectual curiosity
  • Strong GCSE - KS3 results record
