Day in the Life: Logistics Manager, Drayage The Logistics Manager role is your opportunity to shine as you proactively manage, problem-solve, and develop innovative solutions for our customers' logistics processes and needs! To thrive in this dynamic position, you'll need a comprehensive understanding of various transportation modes and services, including expedited, intermodal, drayage, truckload warehousing, and international logistics. If you have experience in account and relationship management and a strong desire to advance your career in logistics, this is the perfect chance for you to make a significant impact! Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring timely and efficient shipment coordination. # Manage and strengthen relationships with current clients and partners while establishing rapport with potential clients to secure new accounts. # Ensure project legal documents are completed and signed by the appropriate personnel before project completion ensuring all quality, budget, timelines, and strategy expectations were met. # Create and implement ideas for division improvements, continuously seeing new partnership to expand our provider database and offerings. # Manage diversified transportation modes for assigned customer accounts, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction. # Participates in special projects and handles all other assigned duties as required. Minimum 1 year transportation of logistics experience required. # bachelor’s degree preferred. # Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to execute complex projects on schedule. # In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with expertise in creating formulas, formatting, charts, pivot tables, and macros. # This job operates in a physical office environment.
