Trinity Laban Students’ Union has decided to change. We are going to start recruiting trustees, and if they follow the previous recommendation, they will register a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (a CIO). To do this, it is proposed that we appoint 4 external Trustees, who will join the SU President and 3 student trustees.
You should be able to display at least one of the following skills:
- Governance: Understanding of legal duties of trustees and best practice in governance &/or an understanding of Students’ Union governance
- Finance: Able to contribute to scrutiny of financial information, understand accounts and budgets, as well as the financial nuances of a charity
- People: Experience of Health & Safety / Human Resources/ Volunteer management policies
