As one of four technicians within the Creative Technology Services team, you will contribute to a wide range of technical support activities across the Conservatoire. The role will be predominantly based at the Laban Building, supporting and maintaining teaching and learning spaces, facilitating equipment loans and returns, and recording activities, whilst also working across other Trinity Laban sites as required.

Working as a core part of a collaborative team, you will bring a range of experience and be support supported to develop skills across multiple service areas, including:

  • Day-to-day support and troubleshooting of teaching and learning spaces, ensuring audiovisual systems, presentation technology and multimedia equipment are fully operational.
  • Managing the issue, return, maintenance and preparation of loanable equipment for students and staff, including cameras, audio equipment, projectors, laptops, and accessories.
  • Video and audio capture of selected performances, assessments, rehearsals and events, including editing, quality assurance, and distribution of recordings through institutional platforms.
  • Supporting basic live sound, recording, and audiovisual requirements for rehearsals, performances, seminars, and other institutional events.
  • Assisting Recording Engineers, Live Sound Engineers, and Production staff in performance venues, theatres and other specialist spaces.
  • Providing technical assistance and advice to students and staff using creative technologies in teaching, learning, rehearsal, and performance activities.
