The Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team and support lawyers across our core practice areas: Financing, Project Development, Corporate and Disputes. This is an excellent opportunity for a law graduate or experienced paralegal looking to build their career in a dynamic, international law firm environment.

You will work directly with partners and associates, playing an active role in the delivery of client matters. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organisational ability, sound legal instincts, commercial awareness and the drive to take on increasing responsibility over time. This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to be in the office 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and proofread legal documents, agreements and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare clear, concise research memoranda.
  • Assist with transaction management, including coordinating execution and organising closing deliverables.
  • Maintain and organise matter files, document management systems and condition precedent checklists.
  • Liaise with clients, counterparties, agents, local counsel and other external parties as required.
  • Assist with billing, matter opening and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Attend and take notes at internal and client meetings.

Financing & Project Development:

  • Support on project finance and infrastructure transactions, including preparation of facility documentation and security packages.
  • Assist with due diligence exercises, including reviewing title, regulatory and corporate documents.
  • Track conditions precedent and maintain transaction timetables.
  • Prepare transaction summaries and assist with completion logistics.

Corporate:

  • Assist with M&A transactions, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations.
  • Prepare board minutes, resolutions, powers of attorney and company secretarial documents.
  • Conduct company searches and maintain corporate records and data rooms.
  • Support on regulatory filings and KYC/AML compliance processes.

Disputes:

  • Assist with international arbitration and commercial litigation matters.
  • Prepare and organise bundles, chronologies and document schedules.
  • Conduct document review and assist with disclosure exercises.
  • Research procedural rules, jurisdictional issues and case law.

Requirements

Essential:

  • Law degree (LLB or equivalent) at 2:1 or above, or a non-law degree with the GDL/PGDL.
  • Strong academic record and demonstrable interest in commercial law.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work under time pressure.
  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Professional and personable manner, comfortable working with clients and senior lawyers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Preferred:

  • LPC or SQE qualification, or currently working towards qualification.
  • Previous paralegal or legal work experience, whether in private practice, in-house or a legal clinic.
  • Experience of or exposure to finance, infrastructure or corporate transactions.
  • Familiarity with document management systems and virtual data rooms.
  • Additional languages are an advantage given Trinity’s international client base.

Trinity is open to considering exceptional candidates who have not yet undertaken the LPC or SQE but can demonstrate strong relevant experience, commercial awareness and a clear motivation to develop a legal career.
