We are currently recruiting for experienced Production Operatives on behalf of our Client based in Walsall. This is a direct permanent position.
Hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
- 42-hour working week
- 15-minute paid morning break
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break

The Role:
We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy steel manufacturing business. This is a physically active role involving manual handling and the movement of steel bars in and out of machinery.
Duties will include:
- Loading and unloading steel bars
- Operating production machinery
- Manual handling of materials
- Using overhead cranes (licence advantageous)
- Maintaining quality standards
- Working safely within a production environment
- General housekeeping duties
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience working with steel is highly desirable
- Overhead crane licence would be advantageous
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a team
