We are looking for an experienced Press Brake Setter to join our growing manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for setting and operating CNC press brakes, producing high-quality folded components to engineering drawings while maintaining excellent quality, safety and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC press brake machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select tooling and adjust machine settings for each job.
- Produce components to tight tolerances and carry out quality inspections.
- Use measuring equipment including verniers, rulers and angle gauges.
- Work to production schedules and achieve output targets.
- Report machine faults and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC press brakes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience selecting tooling and adjusting machine settings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good understanding of fabrication and sheet metal processes.
- Experience with Amada, Bystronic or Trumpf machinery is advantageous.
