Laser Cutting Supervisor Location: Nottingham Salary: £17.00 per hour Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm) We are looking for an experienced Laser Cutting Supervisor to lead our day shift laser cutting department. This is a hands-on role, combining team leadership with the setup and operation of industrial laser cutting machinery. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise the laser cutting department and support the production team. * Ensure production targets, quality standards and delivery deadlines are achieved. * Set up and operate laser cutting machines when required. * Carry out quality inspections and resolve production issues. * Allocate workloads, train team members and promote a safe working environment. * Drive continuous improvement and maintain excellent housekeeping standards. Requirements: * Previous supervisory experience within manufacturing. * Strong experience operating industrial laser cutting machinery. * Ability to read engineering drawings. * Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication. * Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. * Experience with Bystronic, Trumpf or Amada machinery is advantageous.
