We are looking for 2 experienced Laser Cutters to join our growing production team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating laser cutting machinery, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings while meeting production, quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate and monitor laser cutting machines.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and production documentation.
- Carry out machine adjustments and tooling changes.
- Perform quality inspections using measuring equipment.
- Complete production records accurately.
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area.
- Follow Health & Safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Experience using verniers, micrometers and measuring gauges.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with CNC laser cutting, sheet metal manufacturing, FLT or overhead crane operation is advantageous.
