Assembly Operative in Droitwich

Assembly Operative Location: Droitwich Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £30000 About the Role We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a small, friendly shop floor team in a varied, hands-on role. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with some previous assembly experience who enjoys practical work and variety throughout the day. We are looking for a multi-skilled individual with a basic understanding of assembly, rather than someone who is only used to working on a repetitive production line. Key Responsibilities * Assembling products using hand tools and equipment, including spanners. * Picking and packing customer orders accurately. * Labelling products ready for dispatch. * Preparing goods for dispatch and ensuring orders are ready on time. * Supporting general warehouse and shop floor duties as required. * Carrying out occasional heavy lifting. * Working as part of a small team to maintain an organised and efficient working environment. About You The ideal candidate will have: * Some previous assembly or hands-on practical experience. * Basic knowledge of using hand tools, such as spanners. * A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to carry out a variety of tasks. * Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately. * A willingness to learn new skills and develop within the role. * The ability to work independently and as part of a small team. * A full UK driving licence and access to transport would be advantageous due to the company's location. * An FLT licence would be beneficial but is not essential. Working Hours * Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm * Friday: 8:30am – 2:00pm * 37.5 hours per week Enjoy an early finish every Friday, giving you a great start to the weekend
