Do you have the strategic vision and governance experience to help shape the future of a specialist supported housing provider? Trinity is seeking an experienced Non-Executive Board Member to join our Board and help us deliver our vision of providing safe, high-quality homes and services for people who need them most.

As a Board Member, you'll work alongside the Chair, fellow Board Members and Executive Team to provide strategic leadership, constructive challenge and independent oversight. You'll help ensure Trinity remains financially resilient, well governed and focused on delivering excellent outcomes for our tenants.

Trinity is a small yet ambitious housing association with a national presence across England and Wales. We provide homes to just under 500 people and support them to live independently within their communities through partnerships with care providers.

As part of the larger Change Housing Group, we retain an independent Board with two of our members also serving on the Group Board. We are making steady progress towards a stronger financial position, with a focus on achieving sustainable surpluses that will support future growth and resilience.

We're particularly interested in hearing from individuals with experience in:

  • Board or senior governance roles within housing, the public or voluntary sector, or another regulated environment.
  • Organisational growth, including capital investment, grant funding, treasury, development or lease-based housing models.
  • Governance, risk management and organisational performance.
  • Financial planning and long-term sustainability.
  • Social housing regulation and good governance.

What you'll bring:

  • Strategic thinking and sound independent judgement.
  • The confidence to provide constructive challenge and support.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine passion for improving outcomes for tenants.

Time commitment:

Approximately six Board meetings each year, together with strategy sessions, training and occasional site visits. Meetings are predominantly held in the evening via Teams, with a small number taking place in person and during the day.
