We're currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a genuinely friendly, down-to-earth finance team within a growing business that's continuing to expand. This isn't the kind of place where you're just a number — it's a team that works closely together, supports each other, and yes... there's usually a bit of cake involved too.
You'll be joining at an exciting time, with plenty going on and lots of opportunity to grow alongside the business. This role would suit someone who enjoys being part of a team and likes to get stuck in wherever needed. You're the kind of person who doesn't just wait for things to come to you — you're happy to pick up the phone, walk over to someone's desk, and help get things sorted. You take ownership of your work, but you're also always ready to lend a hand, ask questions, and keep things moving. If you'd describe yourself as approachable, reliable, and someone people enjoy working with, you'll feel right at home here.
What you will be doing:
- Processing supplier invoices and keeping everything accurate and up to date
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and chasing anything that doesn't quite add up
- Managing and resolving queries from across the business (sales, sites, buying teams, QS's)
- Handling a shared inbox and responding to a variety of finance-related queries
