The business would suit a candidate who thrives in a growing, fast-paced environment. We are seeking an accomplished professional to collaborate with the senior leadership team, to provide business support and insights and to optimise financial performance.
The Job:
You will be an ambitious, established commercial accountant, with proven experience of building relationships within the non-financial stakeholders to take a joined up, proactive approach.
Duties include:
- Deliver insightful financial analysis to inform key business decisions.
- Support the financial planning, investment and reporting processes.
- Identify opportunities, driving proactive solutions to enhance financial performance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across departments.
- Prepare and present financial insights to senior management.
- Challenge and support the wider team on business performance.
- Develop and utilise management information systems to drive profitability and support business strategy.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Monitor trends, identifying revenue performance, margin and cost.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or proven experience in a similar role.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and influencing abilities, with the confidence to challenge and guide stakeholders.
- Resilient self-starter who identifies problems and implements solutions.
- Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail with a methodical approach.
