A leading international business is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its high‑performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part‑qualified accountant looking to develop within a fast‑paced, commercially focused environment that offers genuine long‑term progression and exposure across the wider business.
Working closely with senior finance leadership, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting forecasting and budgeting processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function. Key Responsibilities- Supporting month‑end reporting activities and delivering accurate financial information in line with reporting deadlines
- Preparing and analysing key variances, providing meaningful commentary to stakeholders
- Supporting monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes in partnership with non‑finance teams
- Completing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting capital expenditure forecasting
- Preparing accruals, prepayments and journal postings
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and standardisation across the finance function
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to provide financial support and resolve queries efficiently
- ACCA / CIMA qualified or actively studying towards qualification
- Experienced within a finance or accounting environment
- Confident working to tight deadlines within a high‑volume environment
- Advanced in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and SUMIFS
- A proactive problem‑solver who enjoys improving processes and challenging existing ways of working
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
