A leading international business is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant looking to develop within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment that offers genuine long-term progression and exposure across the wider business.
Working closely with senior finance leadership, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting forecasting and budgeting processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting month-end reporting activities and delivering accurate financial information in line with reporting deadlines
- Preparing and analysing key variances, providing meaningful commentary to stakeholders
- Supporting monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes in partnership with non-finance teams
- Completing balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances
- Maintaining the fixed asset register and supporting capital expenditure forecasting
- Preparing accruals, prepayments and journal postings
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and standardisation across the finance function
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to provide financial support and resolve queries efficiently
The successful candidate will be:
- ACCA / CIMA qualified or actively studying towards qualification
- Experienced within a finance or accounting environment
- Confident working to tight deadlines within a high-volume environment
- Advanced in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and SUMIFS
- A proactive problem solver who enjoys improving processes and challenging existing ways of working
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
