Brand New! Urgent role | Divisional Financial Controller | Sevenoaks
We are supporting a highly successful PE-backed Group based in Sevenoaks, Kent to hire a Divisional Financial Controller to look after two £10mil t/o sites. This is a highly visible role within the Group, who are entering into another exciting phase of growth through acquisition. You will take ownership of cash flow, budget preparation, month-end and building forecasting that goes beyond a simple projection.
This is a role for someone who wants genuine ownership of controls, not just oversight of a process. You will need to be commercially minded and comfortable in a fast-moving environment. You will have genuine scope to make your mark – reporting into a Finance Director who is genuinely invested in your development and keen to give you the space to shape the function your way, with a clear path to progress as the Group continues to grow.
Key Duties:
- Lead and oversee all accounting, management reporting, and financial control activities for two sites.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end results, variance analysis, and commentary for consolidation.
- Maintain a robust financial control environment, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
- Deliver high-quality balance sheet reconciliations and oversee working capital and cashflow performance.
- Partner with the central finance team to harmonise processes, policies, and systems across regional businesses.
Key Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, ideally within PE-backed or multi-entity environment.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of UK GAAP.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-site financial operations.
- Strong Excel skills, with genuine curiosity about the numbers behind the numbers.
- Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and operations.
