Our well established, multi site client are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their high-performing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified (or nearly qualified) accountant who enjoys combining accurate financial reporting with commercial insight in a fast-paced environment.

Working as part of a collaborative finance function, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial results while providing analysis and support to operational stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, including operating expenditure and margin reporting
  • Ensuring costs are correctly recognised through accruals, prepayments and journal postings
  • Producing variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key trends and risks
  • Supporting the reporting of regional and branch-level financial performance
  • Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
  • Partnering with operational stakeholders to ensure clarity and accuracy in financial results
  • Supporting and developing junior members of the finance team where required

About You:

  • CIMA or ACCA qualification (or be in the final stages of study)
  • Experience in management accounts and month-end reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data
