As the group continues to develop, it has created a new Divisional Finance Director role to strengthen financial leadership within one of its key divisions.The RoleThis is a newly created position, giving the successful candidate the chance to shape the finance function and establish themselves as a trusted partner to the Divisional MD and leadership team. You will own the division's financial performance and bring commercial rigour to decision making across the business.Key responsibilities include:Leading all aspects of divisional finance, including month end, reporting, budgeting and forecastingOwning the control environment and ensuring robust, accurate financial reporting into GroupProviding commercial oversight of contracts, including bid reviews, pricing, contract performance and margin managementIdentifying and managing commercial and financial risk across the contract portfolioPartnering with the Divisional MD and operational leaders to drive profitable growthLeading, developing and building a high performing finance teamAbout YouQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a strong technical accounting foundationProven commercial experience in contract driven environments, with confidence challenging and influencing on contract terms, pricing and performanceExperience operating at Finance Director or senior Head of Finance level, ideally within a divisional or multi site structureA natural business partner with the presence to influence senior stakeholdersComfortable building structure and process in a role that is still taking shapeOn OfferFlexible working model - shape your own diaryOpportunities to progress in different divisions or group
