About the Role
As CFO, you will be a key member of the Trust's executive leadership team, responsible for the strategic oversight of financial operations across all academies. You'll lead on financial planning, compliance, risk management, and resource optimisation to ensure long-term sustainability and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Trust's financial strategy and operations
- Ensure compliance with ESFA and DfE financial regulations
- Provide financial insight and reporting to the CEO and Board of Trustees
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
- Drive value for money and efficiency across the Trust
Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in senior financial leadership, ideally within education or the public sector
