We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Accountant to join a business undergoing an exciting finance transformation. This role will require the selected professional to be onsite in Leicester so please consider the location on application. Key responsibilities:
- Support a major finance programme
- Improve and map end-to-end finance processes
- Lead finance testing and system validation
- Work closely with Finance, IT and operational stakeholders
- Strengthen financial controls and governance
We're looking for someone with:
- A broad accounting background (transactional finance through to GL)
- Finance transformation, project or systems implementation experience
- Strong process improvement and controls knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
Salary £350 - £380pd umbrella
