The Role
We are looking for an interim Business Analyst to join our client for at least 6 months. In this role you will build reports, analyse profitability, and work with various departments to deliver on targets. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong financial background who is looking to step out of the finance department and use their knowledge and analysis skills to really help the business during a period of transition, expansion and growth. This role will be based on site just on the outskirts of central Birmingham so please consider location.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysing profitability of the business across multiple streams
- Maintaining and updating profitability reporting
- Supporting operational departments, ensuring they have timely information to make key decisions
- Supporting the CFO in preparation of the monthly board pack and turning complex information into a tangible story
Required Qualifications Experience
The successful interim Business Analyst will have:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful MI
- Strong Excel and data skills
- Collaborative, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
