Job Description
- Lead the preparation of annual statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee financial controls, risk management processes, and audit liaison.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems, and timeliness.
- Manage and develop the financial reporting team, building capability and resilience.
- Partner with senior leaders to provide clear financial insights, enabling effective strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, legislation, and sector-specific requirements.
About YouYou will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with extensive experience in financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation. You will have a proven track record of leading finance teams in complex organisations, ideally within the people services, not-for-profit, or regulated sector.In addition, you will bring:
