We’re partnering exclusively with a major UK operating business to appoint an FP&A Revenue Analyst into a highly visible, commercially focused role.
Sitting at the heart of the organisation, this position goes far beyond traditional reporting. You’ll translate complex revenue and gross margin performance into clear, actionable insight that influences pricing, product mix, operational optimisation and long-term strategy.

Commercial Business Partnering
- Own deep understanding of revenue streams, pricing structures and gross margin drivers
- Partner closely with Commercial, Sales, Marketing and Operations teams
- Lead conversations around route/service/segment performance
- Identify margin dilution and value creation opportunities
- Support pricing, product mix and service optimisation decisions
- Translate financial analysis into agreed actions and measurable outcomes
Insight & Performance Reporting
- Own end-to-end revenue and gross margin analysis (fully reconciled to GL)
- Deliver robust monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
- Provide clear variance analysis vs budget, forecast and prior year
- Develop and maintain margin-focused KPIs
- Support senior leadership with concise, commercially relevant storytelling
Planning & Forecasting
- Play a key role in annual budgets, rolling forecasts and long-range plans
- Maintain accurate revenue forecasts using data and commercial insight
- Track risks and opportunities, clearly communicating impact
Process & Controls
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting and forecasting processes
- Enhance FP&A capability through systems and modelling improvements
- Ensure revenue governance, recognition and reconciliation integrity
About You
- Strong FP&A or commercial finance experience
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Able to translate complex data into clear commercial insight
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders
- Commercially curious, proactive and comfortable challenging performance
Experience within a large, operational or multi-site environment would be advantageous.
