We're supporting a leading organisation in the West Midlands to appoint a Financial Systems Manager on a FTC for initially 6 months. This is a key role focused on shaping and delivering a strategic approach to financial systems, driving both new implementations and enhancements to existing platforms. Reporting into the Head of Financial Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring systems are fit-for-purpose, future-ready, and aligned with organisational needs—while also deputising where required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on systems improvement, stakeholder engagement, and leading change in complex organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of financial systems (including ERP platforms such as Agresso/Unit4).
  • Deliver high-quality, customer-focused services aligned to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
  • Oversee system enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations.

Analysis Strategy

  • Keep up to date with financial systems market developments and emerging technologies.
  • Provide insight and recommendations on system functionality and cost-benefit analysis.
  • Define and manage a clear systems development roadmap aligned to organisational priorities.
