Trinity House Group are working in partnership with a highly acquisitive business based in the heart of Birmingham. They are looking to appoint a Financial Controller to play a key role in shaping their next phase of growth.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created role designed to provide greater financial insight and control as the business continues its expansion journey. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, helping to drive performance through best-in-class management reporting and robust cash flow forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the production of accurate and insightful monthly management accounts and board packs.
- Develop and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Strengthen financial controls and reporting processes across the group.
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve financial visibility and profitability.
- Support M&A activity, integration of new acquisitions, and ongoing system/process improvements.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post-qualified experience in an SME or mid-market environment.
- Strong technical and analytical background, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven track record in management reporting and cash flow forecasting.
- Confident communicator, able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving business with multiple workstreams.
