Trinity House Group are excited to be working with a highly regarded, internationally operating organisation to recruit a Commercial Accountant into their established finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a visible, business-facing role, partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing commercial decision-making across a key division.
The Opportunity
You’ll work closely with senior finance leadership and operational stakeholders, taking ownership of financial performance, delivering insight, and driving improved commercial outcomes. This is a role where you’ll move beyond reporting, adding real value through analysis, challenge, and strategic support.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver monthly management reporting, including insightful commentary and performance analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategy
- Partner with senior stakeholders to drive performance improvements and commercial outcomes
- Provide financial input into business cases, pricing decisions and strategic initiatives
- Monitor key metrics including revenue, cash collection, WIP and profitability
- Deliver meaningful insight to support decision-making across the business
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and finance transformation initiatives
About You
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
- Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Experience within professional services is beneficial but not essential
