I'm currently working with a large business based in the heart of Leicester who have created a new role within their Finance Project team and are looking to bring in a Finance Project Analyst on a temporary contract, with the potential for the position to become permanent. This is a really interesting opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of Finance, Data and Projects, with plenty of exposure to stakeholders across the business. The role would suit someone with experience in project environments, business analysis, audit, finance transformation or data analysis who enjoys getting into the detail and figuring out how things should work.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting finance projects from requirements gathering through to testing and implementation
- Working with stakeholders to understand processes, requirements and potential improvements
- Gathering, analysing and validating data to support project activity and decision-making
- Reviewing documentation, processes and requirements, identifying gaps or inconsistencies
- Developing and carrying out test scenarios to make sure processes and solutions work as expected
- Recording findings, issues and actions and working with relevant stakeholders to resolve them
- Supporting project meetings, reporting, documentation and wider project activity
- Helping to bridge the gap between Finance, Data and Project teams
What we're looking for:
