We are looking for dedicated and proactive Housekeeping Assistants to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, welcoming and safe environment for our patients, visitors, staff and volunteers. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be at the heart of our care environment ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across all areas of the hospice. You will work closely with other departments, support new team members and help us deliver a service that reflects our values.
The role will be working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 1630 - 1930.
- Prioritising and completing housekeeping tasks efficiently
- Using our online room booking system to plan around meetings and events
- Supporting new starters as a buddy
- Managing laundry and linen, including curtain changes
- Ensuring safe disposal of waste and maintaining tidy, welcoming spaces
- Reporting maintenance issues and adhering to health and safety practices
- Promoting our hospice values in everything you do
