Trinity Homecare Group is proudly rated CQC Outstanding, placing us in the top 4% of care providers nationally. Backed by Limerston Capital, we’ve built a multi-brand platform – Trinity Homecare, Country Cousins, and Patricia White’s – spanning live-in and visiting care. We’re now entering a new phase: our CEO has set out a strategy to redefine how homecare works in the UK, taking a more holistic approach to supporting families through later life and becoming the national leader in live-in care as well as the most client-centred homecare provider in the country.
As Head of Business Development & Partnerships, you will report directly to the CEO, work closely with the COO, and lead the team responsible for driving organic client growth across all three brands. You will build and scale a high-performing BD function and a network of strategic partnerships that consistently generates high-quality referrals. This is a senior commercial role in which growth and care quality reinforce each other: by connecting more families with Trinity’s services, you help raise standards for how homecare is delivered in the UK.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the business development function.
- Manage and develop a growing team of experienced BD Managers, setting clear KPIs, cadence, and field discipline.
- Drive organic client growth in local branches across Trinity Homecare, Country Cousins, and Patricia White’s.
- Build robust local referral networks with NHS and private hospitals, GPs, discharge teams, care homes, and other healthcare providers.
- Use data to track performance, optimise activity, and allocate effort where it delivers the greatest impact on EBITDA.
Build and scale partnerships
- Design and execute a partnerships strategy that delivers at least 5+ national and 20+ total partnerships generating consistent monthly referral leads.
- Target healthcare charities, solicitors, wealth advisers, complementary care organisations, and other relevant late-life service providers.
- Position Trinity as a trusted partner to the medical community, building relationships that result in a steady flow of families who need our support.
- Negotiate, contract, and manage partnership performance, ensuring mutual value and high-quality client journeys.
Shape Trinity’s proposition and presence
- Work with Quality, Operations, and Brand Marketing to bring commercial insight into care innovation - including holistic care planning, diversional therapy, and integrated live-in and visiting care pathways.
- Feed market and partner insight into the evolution of our service proposition and client experience.
- Act as a visible face of Trinity at sector events and conferences, helping to position us as a thought leader and partner of choice.
- Champion integrated growth opportunities across brands and services so families receive the right support at the right time.
Be a senior leader in a growth journey
- Contribute to commercial planning, forecasting, and board-level discussions on growth strategy and performance.
- Ensure alignment between brand promise, operational delivery, and commercial outcomes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the BD and partnerships team.
Experience
- Proven experience leading organic business development in homecare, social care, or adjacent sectors such as private-pay healthcare, pharma, or medical devices.
- Demonstrable track record of building referral networks via NHS and private hospitals, GPs, discharge teams, care homes, and/or professional introducers (e.g. solicitors, wealth advisers).
- Experience recruiting, coaching, and leading BD teams - not just running campaigns.
- Strong commercial acumen, comfortable with EBITDA accountability and operating in an ambitious, investor-backed environment.
- Proven ability to structure, negotiate, and manage partnership agreements that drive recurring referral volumes.
Profile
- Existing network across healthcare referral channels, charities, professional advisers, and complementary care organisations is a real advantage.
- Confident building credibility with clinicians, operational leaders, and external partners.
- Analytical mindset: able to interpret data, spot opportunities, and course-correct quickly.
- Strong communicator and relationship-builder, equally comfortable in boardrooms, branches, and clinical environments.
- Above all, you care deeply about what good care looks like and want to be part of raising the standard for how homecare is delivered in the UK.
Why Join Trinity Homecare Group
- Join an Outstanding-rated provider at a pivotal stage of growth and sector influence.
- Senior role reporting directly to the CEO, with exposure to the board and investor.
- Competitive senior package.
- Hybrid working typically, 2-3 days per week at Worcester Park, Surrey, with regular travel across the Trinity network and to sector events.
- The opportunity to build and shape a BD and partnerships function in a business that has already proven it can deliver Outstanding care - and to ensure many more families can access it.
