Driving requirement:
As this is a community-based role, you must have:
- A valid UK driving licence
- Access to your own car
Availability requirement:
You must be able to work at least every other weekend, as weekend support is essential for our clients.
Shift patterns available:
- 07:00 – 14:00
- 14:00 – 22:00
- 16:00 – 22:00
What you’ll be doing:
As a Care Assistant, you’ll support clients with day-to-day living, helping them remain independent while receiving the care and companionship they need. Your role may include:
- Providing companionship, conversation and emotional support
- Helping clients get up, dressed and ready for the day
- Supporting with personal care, including washing, bathing and grooming
- Preparing meals and supporting with shopping
- Helping with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and bed making
- Supporting with medication and wellbeing
- Accompanying clients to appointments or social activities
- Working alongside healthcare professionals and keeping accurate care records
Every client is different, so you’ll follow personalised care plans that are tailored to each person’s needs, routines and preferences.
