What you’ll receive:

  • £12.80 – £15.00 per hour depending on qualifications
  • Paid travel time
  • 45p per mile mileage
  • Full training and ongoing support

Driving requirement:

As this is a community-based role, you must have:

  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Access to your own car

Availability requirement:

You must be able to work at least every other weekend, as weekend support is essential for our clients.

Shift patterns available:

  • 07:00 – 14:00
  • 14:00 – 22:00
  • 16:00 – 22:00

What you’ll be doing:

As a Care Assistant, you’ll support clients with day-to-day living, helping them remain independent while receiving the care and companionship they need. Your role may include:

  • Providing companionship, conversation and emotional support
  • Helping clients get up, dressed and ready for the day
  • Supporting with personal care, including washing, bathing and grooming
  • Preparing meals and supporting with shopping
  • Helping with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and bed making
  • Supporting with medication and wellbeing
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or social activities
  • Working alongside healthcare professionals and keeping accurate care records

Every client is different, so you’ll follow personalised care plans that are tailored to each person’s needs, routines and preferences.
