Trinity Fire & Security are hiring a Fire Damper Engineer to install & maintain fire dampers and associated systems. You will be working on mechanical, electrical and HVAC systems. Working across the South of England, you’ll be part of a skilled team of Engineers and support staff to build on the company’s reputation in quality and customer service.
The role of Damper Engineer:
- Install, service, and maintain fire dampers in line with Trinity’s quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Ensure correct assembly, alignment, and secure installation of dampers within ductwork and ventilation systems.
- Carry out inspections, routine maintenance, and adjustments to ensure dampers remain fully operational.
- Support the repair and replacement of faulty components and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Accurately maintain service records, reports, and compliance documentation.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of HVAC systems, construction practices, and safety protocols.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A safety-first approach, with a commitment to adhering to company and industry standards.
