Trinity Fire & Security, part of Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG), is seeking an experienced Head of Projects to lead fire alarm and fire detection works at Heathrow Airport. This is a senior, on-site leadership role within a long-term aviation contract secured beyond 2030. You’ll take ownership of a £5m annual project portfolio, overseeing 30 – 40 live projects ranging from small system changes to major installation programmes. You’ll lead a capable team of four experienced Project Managers, supported by a wider on-site team covering design, engineering, coordination, and administration. The operation is a cornerstone of Trinity and has delivered strong performance since its inception – this role is about elevating delivery, strengthening relationships, and setting the standard.
What you’ll do:
- Lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring safe, compliant, and profitable delivery.
- Manage live work-in-progress of circa £2m, forecasting risk and opportunity.
- Operate confidently within NEC3 & NEC4 contract frameworks.
- Act as a senior point of contact for Heathrow stakeholders and partner contractors.
- Navigate the realities of live airport working: security, access, safety, and public environment.
- Build trust quickly, driving a culture of accountability.
What we’re looking for:
- Senior project leadership experience within M&E, infrastructure, or regulated environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and commercial awareness.
