Trinity Fire & Security, part of Premier Technical Services Group, is seeking an experienced Head of Projects to lead fire alarm and fire detection works at Heathrow Airport. This is a senior, on-site leadership role within a long-term aviation contract secured beyond 2030. You’ll take ownership of a £5m annual project portfolio, overseeing 30–40 live projects ranging from small system changes to major installation programmes. You’ll lead a capable team of four experienced Project Managers, supported by a wider on-site team covering design, engineering, coordination, and administration. The operation is performing well – this role is about elevating delivery, strengthening relationships, and setting the standard.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead projects from cradle to grave, ensuring safe, compliant, and profitable delivery
  • Manage live work-in-progress of circa £2m, forecasting risk and opportunity
  • Operate confidently within NEC3 & NEC4 contract frameworks
  • Act as a senior point of contact for Heathrow stakeholders and partner contractors
  • Navigate the realities of live airport working: security, access, safety, and public environments
  • Build trust quickly, driving a culture of accountability without micromanagement

What we’re looking for:

  • Senior project leadership experience within M&E, infrastructure, or regulated environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and commercial awareness

  • Fire alarm or life safety systems knowledge beneficial, but not essential

Why this role stands out:

  • Long-term, secure aviation contract
  • Established, high-performing team
  • On-site support from an experienced Aviation Contracts Director
