Location: Covering the Greater Newcastle area What is the role? As a Works Engineer at Trinity, you will be providing installation and completing small works to our clients\’ fire and security systems. You will complete scheduled work in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to Trinity\’s high-quality standards. You will work as part of a skilled team of Works Engineers and will be supported by our wider support departments to provide high-quality service and customer experience. The Key Tasks Include: Carry out all necessary works required at customer premises in accordance with the company\’s quality standards. Effectively communicate with customers to ensure understanding of system and site status. Liaise with works administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure commitments are met. Work to a planned install and small works schedule. What systems experience do you need? Fire: Required CCTV: Required Intruder: Required Access Control: Required Desirable skills and experience are also welcomed. What skills do you need? Experience in installing and completing small works fire, security, CCTV, and access control systems to relevant British Standards. Ability to identify all types of cable associated with fire detection and security systems, and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers\’ instructions. A logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification. Outstanding customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. What technical knowledge do you need? Understanding of basic building services to test cause and effect of fire alarm interfaces. Knowledge of causes and cures of fire, intruder, CCTV, and access control problems, including recommending changes to prevent false alarms. Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA). Manufacturers training with a minimum of Notifier and Gent equipment. What will Trinity give you?
